MYL Newsletter – Feb 14, 2026: PLL/WLL Discounts & Dick’s Sporting Goods Weekend

We are excited to once again be working closely with the PLL & WLL for their 2026 season, and this year we have an incredibly exciting, new and LIMITED TIME offer for all families in MYL.

In addition to our 20% discount on the majority of tickets for the PLL and WLL Games at Centreville Bank Stadium in Providence, RI and Harvard Stadium in Boston, MA, we will have an incredible price for tickets in specific sections. Our all-in price in these sections will only be between $12 and $17 TOTAL, including taxes and fees. Those specific sections are listed below.

1. Centreville Bank Stadium – Sections 119 and 128
2. Harvard Stadium – Sections 26, 36 and 37

Tickets in all other sections still have our 20% discount built in, so if you would rather sit in another section, you’re still getting the best possible price, but we wanted to provide a great deal for our players and families to get in the door, and $12 or $17 total is definitely the best price that anyone will get for the PLL and WLL this season!

Are you curious why there are two different leagues within Mass Youth Lacrosse? MYL prides itself on focusing on classic play- where kids play with their community friends, practice at their local fields and play against their surrounding towns. Winning is fun, but it is not the focus. Kids get to be kids!

Select League is for 5th/6th and 7th/8th grade teams, and it is in addition to the Classic League. We know some young athletes want “something more”. MYL developed the Select League to give that opportunity to 5th-8th grade youth lacrosse players. Towns play against competition that is in their level of play, there are standings, playoffs and a league championship.

In order to continue to develop the heart of the game and the fun in youth sports, all MYL lacrosse players must participate in Classic League in order to participate in Select League.

This week’s parent resource center comes Matt Young’s Ted Talk. Matt shares how 70% of kids will quit sports by age 13 and what we can do to help combat that.

We’re excited to announce the 2025 MYL Sticks in Schools Grant recipients!

This grant provides elementary schools with lacrosse equipment so students can try the sport during PE — at no cost to the school or families.

By bringing lacrosse into the school day, we’re:
