About Lacrosse
Rules and equipment requirements are different for girls and boys lacrosse — even at the college and pro levels.
Boys lacrosse rules are designed to create a game of speed and to protect player safety.
The rules of boys lacrosse mandate protective padding on most of a player’s top half.
The Hive — Sting Lax Community
Every parent knows: it takes a village — and Sting does, too. Our programs succeed when we have a strong community backing us up. Welcome to The Hive!
The Hive is our name for our community of parents, guardians, fans, and friends. Social media are such a common method of connecting with other people that we want Sting to be well-represented there.
While digital social media content can’t replace in-person socializing & groups, it can strengthen them by keeping communities in touch more regularly. We hope you’ll join our community, both online and off.
